Numeral waited under restraint on the pacemaker for the first mile, but failed to make good when called on in the last quarter. Surmise ran unexpectedly well. Cuspidor probably favors soft going. Adelaide Prince was outclassed, but put up a fine performance. Arden was probably short. Scratched 33993 Outsider, 85. Overweights Surmise, 1 pound. The entry, show, evens. Tom Kenny, show, 3 to 5.
