"WESTERN JOCKEY CLUB ACTION. The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Stewards of the Western Jockey Club was held on " Monday, August 4. I Disqualification of the following persons and horses was removed : H. Chappel, owner; Henry Heed, trainer; the horses Fanny Blazes, Bonny Maid, Lady Esses, North Land. y William Kinchloe, owner; the horses Captain Lowrey, Kenneth, Jr. I. W. OBourke, owner; the horse Egyptian Princess. Horses Dandy H property of F. J. Dodgon. St. Sidney, property of E. Dolson. Owners and trainers M. Leigh, M. Mills, E. A. Stringer. Jockeys C. Blair, E. Brewer, W. Gaylor, Bacing official W. F. Bruen. The following applications for reinstatement were passed to the next meeting of the Board : Paul Warren, H. L. C. Moore, Estil Ward, C. F. Brown, W. P. Reed, E. Foucon, D. E. Lindsey, Thomas McKinney. i Applications of J. M. Barker and Co. and H.I. Mar- shall for removal of disqualification of the horses High Tone and King Galong, respectively, were passed to the September meeting. i Application for reinstatement of jockey Thomas McNickle was referred to the Chicago Jockey Club. , Application for reinstatement of jockey George -Schill was referred to the St. Louis Fair Associa- tion. i The following applications were denied Baker and 1 Guncheon, T. L. Pierce, A. E, Turner. Applications of E. W. Hammond and F. T. Nash for reinstatement of the horses Zanono and Harry Bennett were denied. A protest against the payment of a forfeit against Ballyhoo Belle, filed by J. Will Forsyth, was denied. It was ordered that all licensed trainers against whom forfeits have been lodged be notified that unless the forfeits are paid on or- before the first day of September their licenses will be revoked. Bills for services rendered to injured jockeys were approved and ordered paid. The list of officials submitted by the Kinloch Park Jockey Club was approved as follows : Ralph Orthwein and Alexander Konta, racing stewards. E. C. Hopper, presiding judge and handicapper. W. R. Letcher and Wilson Hunt, associate judges. J. J. Holtman and Richard Dwyer, starters. Clem Creveling, racing secretary. George Rowe, clerk of scales. Thomas Nepper, paddock and patrol judge. C. Kuhne and apprentice Conrad Schneider, and that they be issued upon receipt of applications made in proper form. The license of apprentice W.Hunt was revoked.
