Master Mariner -was rated behind the sharp pace to the last hundred yards, swung wide in the stretch and came on - when let down and won leisurely. Flop ran an extra good race and was well ridden. Malaise had speed and was well ridden, but tired in therun home. Marco Polo closed well from a bad beginning. Miss Guido, badly ridden, had early speed. Two Lick broke in the rear, shot to the front with a dazzling burst of speed, but was tiring all through the stretch. Miller pinched Geheimniss on the rail in the stretch and Dean had to pull up and go around. This lost Geheimniss the race. Tom Cogau closed resolutely. Sanctissima ran an extra good race for a green filly. A jam after the start spoiled the form of the race. Scratched 328ll2Qold Cockade, 110; 33959 Frances Porter, 105. Reducer, slow to begin, and taking the long way, ran a very good race. The Boer had an easy race and can do better. Louis Wagner was cut off at the first turn, thrown on the fence and pocketed to the last eighth. He came fast in the stretch, but was cut off at the eighth pole. Federalist ran a bad race. Glenwoods race was Btartling in view of his recant performances. He closed with a tremendous burst of speed and would have won in another stride. South Breeze ran a good race. Peace- . ful had speed, but tired in the closing strides. Beana was in close quarters to the stretch and did not : run her race. Satin Coat was a contender to the last eighth, then tired.
