Lady Cayuga, off badly and cut off at the start, came around the field and finished with a tremendous burst of speed. Liska showed speed, was well ridden and had no mishaps. Mathilde broke slowly, but showed a good turn of speed in the first quarter and ran a good race. Tribes ran a winning race under a bad ride. Marian S. closed up fast from a bad beginning. If You Dare was ratpd behind the pacemakers and when the leaders tired came with a rush and just got up in time. Croix dOr displayed amazing improvement and a great burst of speed and seemed to be winning when an eighth out, but Wright outrode Bonner at the end. Elastic displayed much improvement and finished with usual gameuess. Erema quit and by no means ran her race. Hilee showed only ordinary tpeed and can do much better. Santa Ventura quit. Brief was off badly and the entry was last at the first quarter Brief made a fast move then, went upon the inside, challenged Peaceful in the stretch and was winning easily when Jessie Jarboe came and forced McCann to drive to beat her. Jessie Jarboe was shut off at the start and did not fully get into her stride until she struck the stretch. She came with a rush then. Kit tie Clyde probably ran her race and Found was given an easy race. Prosper La Gai did not show his usual speed. Peaceful seems to be in rare condition, and went well until Brief challenged him.
