The colt had been in an ugly mood for several days, and late that night he broke down the partition in his stall, releasing a colt that was in the stall with him and two others in a neighboring stall. Several stable boys, however, caught all of the colts but the one belonging to Mr. Waterbury, which dashed across Union avenue and collided with the iron fenco, breaking his neck.
