LEtrenne got into her stride bIowIv and was outrun for the first three furlongs, but finished strongly next to the inside rail, fane runs best in front. Zyra ran to her best form. She stood a long stretch drive with gameness and finished strongly. Emma R. showed speed, but as usual tired when the pinch came. Carl Kahler was Docketed just before turning for home and was taken to the outside whie coming down the last quarter. Dagmar was not called on until after taking the eighth jump, where he easily movedV to the front and was never afterward in trouble. Old Fox was easily the best of the others. He fenced cleanly throughout. Mystic Shriner was third by courtesy of Meddler, which fell when about five strides from the wire. Meddler appeared stiff when going to the post. Although he ran in front for the first seven jumps, he was prop-Ding all the way. His dickey legsgave from under him in the closing strides, when he held third place easily. He completely broke down. Scintillant II ran an exceptionally high-class race. Winkfleld rode him with cool and excellent judgment. He did not call upon him until well straightened for home, where Scintillant II. came away with a rush in the last eighth, winning as his rider pleased. Jiminea displayed great speed and held it longer than usual He stood a drive all through the last sixteenth and was much the best of the others. Scarlet Lilr ran an excellent race. Pink Coat appeared to have a splendid chance just after straightening for home next to the inside rail, but tired fast when the last eighth struggle came up. McChesney was never in the hunt, lying far back in the raar all the way. He was pocketed all through the last quarter close to his stable companion. Nitrate ran very well for seven furlongs. She gradually made it up in the next half and then finished with great resolution under keen punishment. Toah moved up fast in the last eighth and was in effect cantering at the end, Walsh throwing the race awav bv his listless ride. Toah was much the best. Alard tired palpably when the pinch came. Federal finished strongly and was much the best of the others. Brulare began slowly, but made up ground rapidly in the final quarter. Money Muss showed his usual turn of speed, but fell away beaten in the final eighth. Tea Rose III. showed keen speed for a half mile. Little Jack Horner was run into early submission by Money Muss. Scotch Plaid showed gameness under keen pressure but was not quite good enough to beat the winners. Lady Chorister finished stoutly after making up ground in the last quarter. Red Apple displayed much speed and held it for seven furlongs. He bears watching from now on. Silurian was well spent when a furlong out. Scratched 34S82 Ed Adack, 109.
