Unmasked broke slowly, but quickly moved up into second place, trailed the pacemaker to the stretch turn, where he went to the front with ease and was much the best. Young Henry was crowded in the first sixteenth, closed a gap and finished with a rnsh. Musette displayed brilliant speed, held on well and is very good now. Intervention has evidently lost her best form, was under pressure to hold the lead and failed to stay. Tribes Hill is improving, finished strongly and wants a longer race to show at his best. Lux Casta, lucky and skillfully riddnn, waited to the stretch, where she made good and was second best. St. Finnan ran well and is steadily improving. Biturica.away poorly, made ud much ground and can do better. Dainty was a good filly in this race and will be heard from. Mamari is sore and in bad form. Roxane, crowded on the first turn, challenged the winner strongly in the stretch, but failed to stay and may have been a trifle short. Herbert ran up to his best form. Zoroaster, nearly left, closed a tremendous gap. Musette went a good seven furlongs. Ethics was always outrun and had no mishaps. Par Excellent? ran to her best form. Gay Boy fails to stay. Bessie McCarthy, at a disadvantage in making pace, was outsprinted on the backetretch and crowded back, losing much ground, but came on again strongly at the end. Ben Battle ran under a pull for nine furlongs and tired right at the end. He probably was not keyed up for this race. Major Mansir wont well. Mosketo and Alsike wore outclassed. Vincennes, show, out.
