Shotgun followed the fast pace closely, but tired in the last furlong. Monte Carlo was outrun early and was closing up at the end. Muziovfell far out of it in the first half and finished with a rush. Florite, outrun early, closed up at tho end, was easing up and runs like a stayer. Fading Light was going strongly; at the end after making up considerable ground from a flatfooted break. Pride of Galore and Marion Etta retired in the stretch. Lady in Waiting was prominent for a half and should improve. Scratched-34948 Salora, 110; 35004 MiladiLove, 110. Erora, show, 2 to 1. Francesco, lucky and skillfully ridden, waited on St. Finnan to the stretch.-where he moved up fast and was going away at the finish. St. Finnan like this track, set a fast pace, held on in improved fashion and should win soon. Herbert was second best, had to be pulled off horses in front on the first turn, worked a rough passage and finished very strongly and always favors this track. His Eminence was outrun throughout and ran a comparatively poor race. Daly went well for the first mile. Douro broke slowly, was badly outpaced for the first mile and under severe pressure throughout and was closing up at the end. Scratched 34975 Rock water, 100 ; 350333Slipthrif t, 98.
