The Pride of Surrey raced Edinborough and Fonoda into submission in tho first three-eighths and came away when Minder was ready. Delmarch closed a big gap after being practically left at thepost. Circus Girl saved ground at every turn and hung on gamely when it came to a drive. Edinborough had every advantage, was off well in motion and showed the most .early speed, but tired and quit badly in the-stretch run. The latter was hard ridden all the way. Americano ran well to the stretch, but failed to show the speed he displayed in hiB previous races. Jerry was crowded out of it soon after the start. Mc Williams ran to his best form and hung on gamely when the pinch came. Barouche showed the most early speed and lasted longer than usual. Autolight pulled up lame. Overweights McWilliams, 2 pounds.
