Philma Paxton was much the best, snowed surprising speed on the flat, but jumped poorly, and should improve, as her j recent bad fall when going through the field probably affected her action over the hurdles. McGrathiana 1 Prince runs his best races over this course and ran a game race in improving form. Lavator outjumped 1 the others and led for a mile and a half under a pull, but was probably short, as he tired at the end. 1 Ferocious was prominent for the greater part of the journey and can do better. The others ran badly. Scratched 348692Neponset, 143; 343893King Edward, 135; 34313 Tankard, 133; 31014 Rocklight. 133. Philma Paxton, show, 2 to 5. McGrathiana Prince, show, 6 to 5.
