ST. LOUIS ITEMS. St. Louis, Mo., November 15. P. J. Carmody, who conducted tho Kinloch meeting last AuguEt. has secured an option on 100 acres located near Union boulevard and Natural Bridge road and will build a new race track there, provided he gets dates from the Western Jockey Club. Carmody wants thirty days. The Kinloch track was to have been sold under a deed of trust last Monday, but the sale was postponed on account of some technicality. "Phil" Chew, secretary of the Kinloch Jockey Club, says his associates will bid the property in. Barney Schreiber has just bought tho McMonamy farm of 150 acres on the Natural Bridge road for 0,000. The McMenamy farm is located about two miles from Schreibers Woodlands stud, which includes 350 acres. Schreiber will send "Billy" Ker-wan and "Bill" Wholan to New Orleans with a string of twelve horses. Wholan will train the string. Schreiber has just bought Crimean and Bucclenth from T. P. Hayes for ,000; He has turned Crimean out of training and will race Buc-cleuth at New Orleans. "Phil" Hammell is to make book for Barney at New Orleans. Schreiber will operate three books at San Francisco. Frank Bain and "Virginia" Carroll will post odds for him on the coast. Louis A. Cella will send three books to New Or leans and one to San Francisco. Sam Stephens! who made one of the biggest books here last summer, will go to the coast for Cella, while Fred Ray, Phil Bollinger and Charles J. Cella are to book at New Orleans.
