Dandie Belle got off running and displayed a good burst of speed, but was tiring at the end and only lasted long enough. Tribes Hill ran in the middle of the field nearly all the way and did not get clear sailing until too late and just failed to get up. Euclaire ran well and showed quick improvement. Flara would have been a keen contender with an even start and made up a big gap. Brunswick was sore when going to the post. Conrtenay ran as if short and should improve. It was a poor race for Lady Potentate. Off none too well he worked his way through the field and finished strongly, getting up in the last stride. Rosewater rounded to with a rush, showed speed and might have won with a stronger rider up. Lord Advocate came fast through the stretch and finished strongly. Geisha Girl ran a fair race and is worth remembering. Alhambra lasts longer each race, is speedy and should win Boon. Won handily; second driving, Saccharometer has been steadily improving, was in light and, after being in a good position throughout, forged to the front in the final furlong under a hard drive and was doing his best at the end. Toscan was anchored by the weight in the final drive, but his race was a good one. Cinquevalli broke running, showed plenty of speed and fought out the finish gamely, but his impost was too much. Dark Planet finished fast and would hnvo been second in a few more strides. Ancke and Illyria weakened when the strong pressure came. It was a poor race for Dramatist. Bonnibert, good and fit, was well handled throughout and received the benefit of a strong finish, saved gronnd on the stretch turn and was tiring at the end. Lux Casta was best at the weights and would have won with capable handling. Sevoy found the route Jtoo far, but displayed great speed. The Huguenot had no mishaps. In a good position throughout, he simply could not gain at tho end. Harry Now ran under a pull for the first six furlongs. Ho is a free runner and was choked into exhaustion and had nothing-left when called on. Extinguisher tired badly. He easily went to the front in the stretch and weakened in tho final driva.
