NOTES OP THE TURF. M. Goldblatt and "Willie" Carroll left Latonia Wednesday night over the Louisville and Nashville for New Orleans. They took seventeen horses in all. George Rowes Ranco was one of them. Goldblatt will race him this winter. Hop Scotch, the property of Matt Hogan, also had a "berth" in the car. C. B. C, Chicago. Watkins Overtons show odds should have read 6 to 5. Guess Works quotation was as received and is no doubt correct. J. J. Marklein has decided to go to California, and with that end in view is weeding out his stable. James Arthur purchased from R. E. Reynolds the horse Illuminate atj private terms Friday. Jockey ONeill was suspended indefinitely for his ride on Saubor at Latonia Wednesday. Tiburon will be taken to California by C.E. Rowe,
