Shoo Fly was well handled and taken the short route, caught Suburban Queen tiring in the stretch run and was going away at the end. Sidney Sabath came to the extreme outside at the turn into the homestretch and Rob-bins could not keep him straight when it came to a drive and allowed him to swerve over toward the inside in the last hundred yards. Polite tired when the pinch came. Nicolette and 8olver had to go around the leaders at the far turn. Overweights Nicolette, 2 pounds. Shoo Fly, show, out. Sidney Sabath, show, 3 to 5. Bummer saved ground all the way, caught Little Jack Horner tiring and outgamed him when it came to a drive. The latter showed the most early speed. Dodie S. and Leenj a fought it out all through the last quarter and Helgesen outrode Bridwell when it cam to a finish Leema had to come around the leaders at the stretch turn, finished stoutly and would have won with a" good rider up. Nabockhsh was used up in chasing Miss Shanley and tired in the stretch run. Miss Shanley ran well to the stretch. Annie Thompson, was .on the outside all the way and covered more ground than any horse in the race. She finished in behind the others through the last eighth and Maid u nf Enid was as good as left.
