Castake was lucky, given a vigorous finish, made a close stretch turn and outstayed the other sharp contenders after a hard drive. Maggie Felix forced the pace from a lucky start and stood a long drive gamely Mike Rice broke flatfooted and closed a big, early gap, but was carried wide on the stretch turn and was probably best and is a greatly improved horse this year. Tizona was outrun early, but closed un fast at the end. Estado failed to stay and is very moderate. Ohio Girl fell out of it hopelessly in the first furlong. Quatre under a vie on us and lucky ride, ran gamely. Katanga finished with a rush and runs like a stayer Distrust is good looker and went well. Edna Rose showed much speed and was a contender when a sixteenth out a Mordonta ran poorly and evidently favors mud. Orsina had no chance at the start. Matt Hogan was lucky at the start, had clear sailing and no mishaps, but failed to stay when hard pressed. Dollie Wiethoff ran a speedy and game raco and is much improved. Malaspina, bady ridden, made a wide stretch turn and finished strongly and is best in mud. Moconto was carried wide on the turns and quit in the last furlong. Fossil, away badly ran a brilliant first half and was dangerous in the stretch, where he was interfered with and is very promising Leader, away. badly, had a rough trip, but closed up strongly in the stretch and can do better. Narra G., lucky throughout and always prominent, ran a good race. Bucolic is improving and may prove more than useful. Bell Reed, nearly left, raced into prominence on the extreme oatftlai and then tired badly, but had no chance with a bad jockey and is, moreovor, a pronounced auitter Monoy Muss, show, out.
