Lord Advocate was best handled and that won for him. He had to be hustled to catch Lucky Day and was tiring badly when Hist challrnged in the last sixteenth. Creamer rode a strong finish on the latter, but could not quite get up. Doyle was of little help to Lucky Day. The latter is speedy and can win in the same company with a good rider. Reckless, a sharp contender to the final furlong, was short and weakened under a drive. It was a poor ride on Stonewall. Sunny Shore broke slowly. Lord Advocate, show, 1 to 2. Hist, show, 2 to 1.
