NOTES OF THE TUKF. J. J. Marklein, the well-known owner, stopped off in Chicago Thursday en route to California, where he recently shipped Laura F. M., Brissac and John J. Regan to be raced this winter. Mr. Marklein Btated that he left ten yearlings and several older horses at Latonia, where they will be quartered until spring then shipped to Memphis and tried out. Among the youngsters are several fashionably bred ones and, judging from their appearance, may contain another Dr. Walker among them. X 212, Chicago. It was Autumn Time and not Automaton that was entered in the second Ingle-side race Wednesday. All wagers on Automaton are draws. J. L. A., Chicago. The disqualification of Right and True was not for a cause affecting wagers and bets were and are to bo paid as the horses finished. Inquirer, Chicago. The show odds on W. J. Deboe should have read 6 to 1 instead of 6 to 5. Jockey L. Jackson was indefinitely suspended by the Ingleside judges Thursday. .
