Burke Cochran was off well in, motion and showed much spped, but tired. Blanco began slowly, but closed a b g gap and finished fast. Brookscon and Aurio B. dropped out of it in the stretch run. The first three at the start beat the barrier, while the others got tangled up in the webbing. Scorpio was not persevered with after getting loose from the webbing. The latter finished in the deep going. Jessie Jarboe quit badly after goit g a half. Hayward Hunter was outrun all the way. Erne swerved over in front of Major Tenny in the last sixteenth, shut the latter off and was disqualified and third money given to Major Tenny. Overweights Major Tenny, 1 pound ; Erne, 24.
