Maria Bolton began slowly, but picked up her field gradually, and under a well judged ride won with plenty to spare. Pearl Mendel, as usual, displayed early speed and hung on longer than usual. Golden Maid caught Cologne H. tiring in the final eighth and easily passed her. Nightingale can do better. Liska was, practically left at the post. Julietta B. saved ground by coming along the rail in tho stretch run and finished fast Eleven Bells was the victim of a bad ride.
