Count Em Out was easily best, wore the leaders down on the backstretch and saved a lot of ground at the turn for home, fought it out strongly with Ernest Parham through the last furlong and just managed to last long enough. Ernest Parham finished fast and would have won in another stride. Alfred C. got a lucky start and showed early speed, but tired. Little Reed was of scant help to Boaster. Wonderly never made a move on him until he was straightened out for home when he came away and won under restraint. Bensonhurst showed the most early speed, but tired badly when challenged. The Don finished going fast and outgamed Jake Greenberg when it came to a drive. The latter swerved across the track in the last sixteenth. Betmuda quit after going a half. At post 5 minutes. Start good. Won driving; second easily. Thane was best ridden. Fuller saved ground all the way with him and outrode Reed when it came to a finish. Rightful was best and should have won, but Reed let him run out at the turn into the homestretch. He came again when straightened out and was wearing Thane down at the end. It was a two-horse race all the way. Rankin was s easilv easuy th tne best of the others today. The Lady is not at her best. Scratched 380832James F., 86. Thane, show, out. Rightful, show, out. G. fenced well, -fought it out all last quarter with Lord Radnor and gamely outstayed him. Lord Radnor tired in the last sixteenth and his performance was not up to the mark. Ohnet ran out at the second jump. Tennison broke down. Memorist was eased up when beaten. Overweights Ada S. G., 2 pounds; Memorist, 4. Ceylon, show, 3 to 5. Ada S. G., show, 4 to 1. Squanto was bumped into at the start.but overhauled the field on the backstretch, came fast in the stretch run and after a struggle with Louise Collier won going away. Louise Collier displayed a good turn of early speed, but was used up chasing Suburban Queen in the first half. Daddy Bender finished with a rush next to the inside rail. Apple Sweet and John J. Regan tired in the stretch run. Suburban Queen ran a good half. Scratched 344S9 Feronia, 103. Overweights Squanto, 1 pound; Wine Sap, 2. Squanto, show, 1 to 2. Ljpuise Collier, show, evens. Daddy Bender, show, 4 to 1.
