M. TOHONTO STAKE OFFERINGS. Hlany of the stakes to be run off at Kq Toronto Spring meeting are exclusively HV Canadian horses, but the Ontario Hockey Club makes liberal provision for Imerican owners and their horses in a good Hist of stakes which closes for entries Satur-Bay, April 25. These embrace four races for Mwo-y ear-olds, two for three-year-olds, and Hleven for three-year-olds and upward, sev-Bral of the latter being for jumpers. A spe-rial feature in several of the stakes is that n addition to the money endowment the win-Biers will carry off valuable plate in the form lof gold and silver cups. H The Toronto spring meeting is the ultra-Bxisbionable turf reunion of each year in Can-Hida, and is annually patronized by all of Kilgh position, wealth and beauty that the Dominion can muster, the Governor General and his staff adding to the brilliancy and eclat of each opening day. The racing is well I conducted, and the daily attendance and vol- ume of speculation surprisingly large in view of the population of Toronto. American owners whose horses are not well engaged will find it to their interest to investigate the possibilities of this meeting. Daily Racing Form has a few entry blank books which will be furnished to applicants. The meeting covers dates from May 23 to June G, inclusive, arid entries should be sent to W. P.
