Bay Wonder, off flying, displayed much speed and easily stood off Sarah Maxims determined challenge in the last hundred yards. The latter was crowded out of position at the start and lost ground, but made it up fast in the last half mile and was passing horses fast at the end. Best Man came with a rush at the end. Irene Mac began slowly, but made up ground fast in the last quarter. Mike Strauss met with much interference.
