Won driving; second easily. Marston Moor got away well in motion and showed the most early speed, but was driving to the limit at the end„to. stall off. Amahagga. TheJlatter-always held the: dtheFtTsafe arid ■would have won in another stride. Helen Tarwater ran a good race, got away all tangled up, but finished fast. Crestfallen raced Nellie Forest and Pepper Dick into submission on the far turn and came away in the homestretch with plenty to spare. Cormac was outrun in the first part of the race, but came fast and outgamed Binehelio in the final drive. Binehelio began slowly and made up a lot of ground, but tired when the pinch came. Pepper Dick and Nellie Forest raced each other into exhaustion and both quit. Overweights — Binehelio, 2 pounds. Crestfallen, show, 4 to 5. Cormac, show, 4 to 1. Binehelio, show, 1 to 2. Daly had her well in hand at the end and won with something left. Iole hung at the start, but made up much ground when she got in her stride and ; finished fast after being on the outside until on the turn into the homestretch. Maud-Johnson just got up in time to beat out The Globe. The latter was tiring. Yeremi showed i a good turn of speed, but weakened at the finish. He was ridden a waiting race, went to the front when called on and won as his rider pleased. Nellie Bawn showed the most speed to the stretch, but tired from setting the pace. Lou Rey was outrun in the first part of the race, but finished fast after coming all around the field at the stretch turn. Bellcourt was made too much use of in chasing Nellie Bawn and tired. Malay was under a hard drive from the half-mile ground to the finish and seemed to sulk. Corrected weights — Lou Rey, 110; Moroni, 110; Pat My Boy, 110. Nellie Bawn, show, evens. Commena and Barnacle raced each other into exhaustion. Commena just lasted long enough to get second place. Barnacle showed the most early speed. Briers was tiring at the end. Rene, show, 4 to 5.
