John Boden, secretary of the Buffalo Racing Association, which will hold a meeting " at Kenilworth Park beginning the last Saturday, in August, said recently that he had ! prepared a list of ten stakes, with added money ranging from ,000 to ,500, and that t the purses for the overnight events would not be less than 00 and not more than 00 each. The daily- average in added -money, s Mr. Boden said, would be from ,800 to ,000. The Buffalo track is in fine shape and a successful meeting under the new manage- ■- meat ia looked for. Jackson, as master of Belle Meade at the demise of the noted warrior a few months ago, died of typhoid fever at the famous thoroughbred nursery Sunday morning. Mr. Jackson was 29 years of age. He leaves a widow and a young son. Judge Joseph A. Murphy, who is presiding in , the stand at Fort Erie, received a telegram from S. S.
