GOOD ONES FOR SALE. Dr. A. C. Bernays, of St. Louis, has decided to send his racing string under the auctioneers hammer at the St. Louis Fair Grounds next Saturday, and a number of horses well worth the attention of owners now in Chicago will be disposed of. Five beautifully bred yearlings, of which Dr. Bernays expects great things next year, are in the band to te sold. One, the imported filly by Hilare Zona, went a quarter on the Fair Grounds track in 24 seconds at her first speed essay. The breeding of these youngsters is set out in the advertising department of this issue, and they are strongly commended to owners who desire to strengthen their stables for next year.
