Edward Wilder was nervous at the post and repeatedly broke through the barrier, ran away from his opponents in the first furlong with a great burst of speed, but was tiring and ridden out at the end. Bonart ran well and finished gamely. Arthur Rosenfield was close up throughout and did his best. Rudy showed improvement. Little George saved ground all the way, but could not keep up. Capitnno was on the outside of the lenders until making the turn Into the homestretch, where he cut across to the inside and finished driving to the limit to stall off Ethel Davis. Alma Dufour was taken into a pocket while rounding the turn out of the backstretcli, where she was sharply cut off and lost a couple of lengths, then went to the outside and raced around her opponents to get to the fronts but won going away after holding Harry Stephens safe all through the last furlong. The latter ran a smart race, carried Thistle Do to defeat on the backstretcli and outlasted Attila when it came to the final drive. The latter finished fast and gamely. Coruscate ran below her true form. Thistle Do showed early speed, but failed to stay, and the same applies to Ilymettus. The latter got away tangled up, closed a big gap and finished with a rush after coming through on the inside when entering the homestretch. Belllndlan ran in improved form and outgamed Royal Legend when It came to the final drive. The latter lost ground by going wide on the turn into the homestretch. Qulnn Brady ran a fast half, but tired in the stretch drive. Oro Viva went well.
