Optional ran to her best form, forced the early running, wore down Pinsticker with ease and won easing up. Pinsticker had no mishaps and ran a good race, but tired in the final drive. Sea Voyage, showing steady Improvement, came with a rush near the end and was fast wearing Pinsticker down. Triple Silver lost much ground by going wide and ran a good race. Bitter Hand ran a winning race, was. caught in a jam at the start, knocked hopelessly hack and closed a big gap. Schoharie ran well. Rolla ran poorly and can do much better.
