Lythelist ran well, but had to work her way tip on the outside, was tiring at the end and just managed to last long enough to stall off The Only Way. The latter was crowded hack at the start and made up much ground In the last quarter and finished with a great burst of speed. Topo Chlco ran well to the stretch, but tired in the final furlong. The latter was on the outside of the leaders when entering the homestretch, came fast when straightened out and finished gamely. Jack Adams closed a gap, outgamed Limerick Girl and took third place In the final stride. The latter ran a good race for her. J. Flying Rain Cloud moved up with a rush when going to the seventh Jumn and appeared like the winner at that point, buttlred In the last sixteenth. Sceptre showed the most speed early, but made a bad landing after taking the eighth jump and almost unseated his rider. H. M. P. fenced poorly and stumbled at a couple of jumps, went to his knees after taking the ninth jump and was loorly handled. Redlands was going well wlien he fell at the ourth jump. Attlla, outrun In the early stages, wore the leaders down while rounding the turn Into the homestretch, where he came wide, but finished with a rush and just managed to get up in the final stride. Padre finished fast, caught Goldmate tiring and outgamed him in the final drive. Goldmate was speedy, but was much used in racing Ioxmead into defeat and tired in the stretch drive. Gilfaln stopped as if short after showing the most speed for a half mile. Foxmead ran in suddenly Improved form, but quit in the stretch. Scratched 59024 Happy Jack II., 99. Merely Mary Ann was under restraint for the first quarter, then moved up and around the leaders and, taking command when entering the homestretch, was well in hand at the finish. Begonia was easily best of tho others and showed a good turn of speed, but was unable to withstand the winners challenge. French Nun was speedy, but tired and had to stand a hard drive to stall off Frenchies First and Cambridge. The latter : closed a big gap and finished fast. Frenchies First was going well at the end.
