IMPROVEMENTS AT BRIGHTON BEACH. New York, February 5. The open winter lias favored the improvements being made at Brighton. Superintendent Dare has had a gang of men at work all winter on the chute, which has been widened and straightened so that there will lie a straight run of five-sixteenths of a mile without a turn ot any sort. The filled in plot on Neptune avenue lias been fenced, and work will begin soon on the construction of new stables, which will accommodate 200 horses. The main course is in splendid condition, and is being used every day by the horsemen wintering at the Beach.
