LALLYS OWNER VISITS NEW YORK. New York, February 9. Captain W. B. Purefoy, owner of Lally, favorite for the Derby to be run at Epsom Downs this year, is here from London on business connected with his theatrical enterprises. He is enthusiastic in his predictions that his colt will win the classic. Captain Purefoy lias his racing stud in County Tipperary, Ireland. "Lally," said Captain Purefoy, "is the nickname of Lionel Monck-ton, a star among the actors of our country. He is one of my best friends. Heucc the name of my colt." .
