OHIOS RACING BILL IS INTRODUCED. Columbus, O.. February 21. The bill by which it is hoped that racetracks in this state can be legally operated has been introduced to the legislature by Senator Pollock. However, the measure will lie of little benefit to any track owner who might desire to conduct a meeting for runners in keeping with modem Ideas as to duration, for it limits racing ou any course ia the state to fourteen days each year and provides that uo meeting shall le longer than six days. There can be no racing before June 1. and none after November 1. AAhiie the bill has the support of all horsemen, it is clearly for the benefit of the trotters.
