Ann II!1! began slowly, but worked her way up on the turn out cf the backstretch, raced Draco into defeat in the run to the stretch turn, had plenty left when Miss Jordan challenged in the stretch and was going away at the end. Miss Jordan ran In improving form and outgamed Henry of Trastamare when it came to the final drive. The latter slipped through on the inside on the turn for home, but Allen then took him to the middle of the track when straightened out for the final run and this move cost him a couple of lengths. Draco ran well to the stretch, then tired. Harvest Time quit after they had gone throe furlongs. Problem tired badly. Scratched C0435 Clique, 104; 5S858 Delia A., 112. Creel began slowly and was outrun In the early stages, but worked his way up on the inside on the far turn and slipped through next to the inner rail on the turn into the homestretch, while the others went wide, then finished fast and was well in hand at the end. Dazzle showed much the most early speed, but tired in the last quarter and probably needed a race. Lochgoil was on the outside all the way and was driving to the limit at the end to stall off Lady Charade. The latter ran a fairly good race. Suds showed early speed, but tired badly. Ingolthrift was at home in the going, broke with the leaders and raced Graydal into defeat in the first half and, having plenty in reserve when Ezra challenged in the last quarter, drew away from the latter in the last sixteenth. Ezra began slowly and was outrun for the first half, but moved up with a rush on the far turn, where he went around on the outside and made a determined challenge at the eighth post, but tired in the Jast sixteenth. Lady Mistake ran well and finished fast. Knowledge tired after running a good race to the stretch. Flying Charcoal ran a bad race. Dungannon showed improvement. The latter ran a good race, but lost ground by bearing to the outside in the stretch run. Coviua finished gamely, but can do better. Maudina closed a big gap. Tichimlngo showed the most early speed and raced Bert Osra and Lucy Young into defeat, but tired in the last sixteenth. Lucy Young was speedy, but bore out in the stretch run and finished on the outside. Bert Osra tired in the last eighth. Merely Mary Ann evidently did not like the going. Spendthrift Helen wore Oak Grove down In the run around the far turn and caught her before making the turn into the homestretch, was carried to the extreme outside as they swung for home, but drew awav in the last eighth. Skyward closed up much ground and just managed to get up in time to beat the tiring Oak Grove. The latter ran a good race, but was made too much use of in the early stages and tired, Goldbearer ran a race that is worth remembering. Rain Devils got tangled up and was not persevered with. Harrigan handled Goldlc like a veteran, raced him along with Kleinwood in the earlv stages, took him back while rounding the far turn and came wide on the turn for home, but the colt finished fast and outgamed Merry Acrobat in the final drive. The latter ran a good race, but kept bearing out all through the last sixteenth and Pendergast had to stop riding to straighten him out. Kleinwood showed speed to the stretch, but tired when it came to the stretch drive. It was a three-horse race all the way, the others running poorly.
