I RADTKES FOLLOWERS HAVE A LOSING DAY. Hot Springs, Ark.. February 20. Jockey Radtke rode only two winners at Oaklawn today. The prices abont these were short. In consequence his followers sustained heavy losses. The morning rain left the track heavy, but a strong wind lias been blowing since the early afternoon and the course is drying out rapidly. After" Miss Stromes impressive victory this afternoon. J. O. Keene made L. A. Cella an offer of .0,000 for his filly. It was refused. Many turfmen here declared that this daughter of Ren Strome Is the liest Ally that has leeh shown in the west in many seasons. She is considered another May Hempstead. There was a meeting of the directors of the Oaklawn Jockev Club today at which Dan Stuart was re-elected president, H. O. Price general manager and J. II. Breiuiori, treasurer. D. J. Campau is here and had a conference witli L. A. Cella and John Condon today relative to the future of the Grosse Pointe, track. Mr. Camnau. and the others as well, declined to make known their intentions as to racing at the Detroit track. Legatee lias leen purchased by II. G. Bedwell. Rose Hart was sold after her victory today to C. T. Gardner.
