Vendido closed a gap and outlasted Beau Brummel under a drive. The latter broke with the leaders and showed early speed, but was used up in racing Tom Morgan into defeat. Nicol avoided- the early pace with Kleinwood and came to the middle of the track on the turn into the homestretch and his mount finished gamely and was wearing the winner down. Fox Hunting liegan slowly and had to work his way up on the outside and came fast In the last quarter. Two Penny was knocked about and ran well. The Only Way showed speed, but quit badly.
