Morales, running in much improved form and well ridden, showed the most speed and won all the way with plenty in reserve. Chase, off in a tangle, was raced into early contention and finished goiug well, despite his early effort. Tollgatherer ran a fairly good race and is showing improvement. Alta McDonald, hard ridden for the entire trip, was a forward contender iu the first half, but tired in the stretch. John Kaufman finished close up. Steadfast ran moderately well. Revolt, off running, followed Toppy Girl closely to the final sixteenth, where she wore down the leader with ease and won drawing away. Toppy Girl, also away forwardly, showed the most early speed and stayed longer than usual. Oasis ran in improved form and finished gamely. Heine, almost left, closed a big gap and" ran a winning race. Elude showed fair form, but tired after going a half. Lncullus was a contender for the first half and ran a fairly good race. Royal Legend was practically left and was not persevered with, Nicol casing her up after going the first quarter. Florizel, badly ridden, suffered from crowding nnd was in numerous jockets. Ternus stumbled on the first turn and had scant chance thereafter. Kings Guinea ran a fairly goad race.
