NOTES OF THE TURF. Sixteen of Fred. Cooks yeatlings are being broken at the Lexington track by Charles Dodson. The three men who robbed Judge Hnmilton at Mt. Sterling, Ky., have been leld to answer to the grand jury. Hiram Steele has resigned as trainer of Major P. P. Johnstons thoroughbreds, at Montrose Farm in Kentucky. Forty-five, mares were mated to Frankfort this year. Among them was Tootsey Mack, the half sister to Herinia.
