Suzanne Rocamora, well rated by Wishard, ran within striking distance until the stretcli turn was reached, then moved iip rapidly on the inside, drew away in the last sixteenth and won -with plenty in reserve. F. E. Shaw set a fast pace and tired from racing Demurrer into exhaustion, but held the others safe. Fannette ran without blinkers today, ran a good race and will do when properly placed. Edgely had no mishaps and was outrun all the way. Demurrer showed great early speed, but tired in the stretch run. Scratched C4072 Arab, 108. Overweights Suzanne Rocamora, 4 pounds. Lady Gay Spanker was all but left at the post, ran a sparkling race and, witli better racing luck, might have been troublesome to the winner. Mirabel ran to her best form. Lulu Young was much used In chasing Sartor Resartus and had nothing left when the real racing came. Cardigan went well throughout. Nameokl and Peter Becker could not keep up. Dan McKeiina trailed for the first half, but moved up fast and resolutely In the stretch and would have won in another stride. Prestige ran a good, game race and stood a hard drive through the entire stretch. Gallithea and Petit Due were close up at the end. Ingolthrlft had a rough journey. The rest were always outrun. Exclamation began slowly and ran a good race, but tired at the end. Reticent was much used in chasing the winner and tired. Lemon Girl quit early.
