JOCKEY WILLIAMS INJURIES PROVE FATAL. New York, August 9. August Fau.st, a steeplechase jockey who rode under the name of Williams, died in the Reception Hospital at Coney Island Tuesday, night after being unconscious for four days. Faust was thrown from Flying Virginian at the fifth jump in the second race at Brighton Beach on July 30 and suffered concussion of the brain.
