CORUSCATE WINS LOUISVILLES FEATURE. Mamie Algol Takes the Mile and a Half Race-Martha Gorman Scores at Long Odds. Louisville, Ky., September 8. There was a big crowd at Douglas Park today. The card was a good one. It included a handicap at one mile and an ulghth: a race at six furlongs, which brought together the best middle distance runners seen in a long time In these parts, and a race at one and one-half miles, which gave the stayers an opportunity to perform. Speculation was noticeably increased, the eighteen layers being kept busy. Coruscate ran to her best form today and scored an impressive victory In the feature race from Old Stone, on which Aubuchon, by permission of starter Dade, had the mount.
