GOOD SPORT AT TORONTO. SIR RALPH WINS THE FEATURE RACE BY A HEAD FROM BLUE BUCK. Defeat of Ormondes Right Causes Dissatisfaction-Miss Leeds Is Bid Up by Her Former Owner Nicol Is at Woodbine. Toronto, Ont., September 20. A bumper crowd, large fields and keen contests marked the racing at" Woodbine today. The attendance was augmented by a big delegation of visiting Odd Fellows. The public recouped some of Its losses of the four pre-vlous days, as four favorites and one well backed second and a third choice were victorious. In a card of seven races the Pheasant Plate, with ,000 added, at one and one-eighth miles, was the feature. Ormondes Right, the "muazled horse," was a 4 to 5 fnvorlte, but the real support went to Sir Ralph. He won by a head from Blue Buck, also heavily backed. J. Hennessy put up a poor ride on Ormondes Right. Getting off badly, he took the horse to the rear. The boy came In for mnch adverse criticism after the race. As usual there were several falls in the steeplechase, but happily no riders were Injured. Opuntia ran out followed by Goldenway, Knobhampton and. Greenfield. Broadcloth,- John A. Drakes cast off, was a prohibitive favorite in the mile and a sixteenth race and had to be satisfied with second money; Miss Leeds, winner of the first race, was bid np 00 over her entered price by J. W.
