Miss Leeds got off running freely and had a couple of lengths advantage before they had gone a sixteenth, set a fast pace and, after racing Cicely into defeat, had enough left to stall oil Olive Leafs challenge. The latter was outrun for the first half, but finished fast and gamely. Oleasa wns forced back soon after the start, "but closed a big gap on the far turn and finished gamely under punishment. Cicely quit in the last furlong after running well to the stretch. Woggle Bug ran well. Conde and Fire Fang rah much below tlieir true form. Broadcloth was hard to restrain in the earlv stages and set a terrific pace, but tired after going six furlongs and succumbed in the final stride, Wexford was outrun all the way and by no means ran to his best form. General Haley rushed to the leaders when the start came and, after lacing Fair Havana into defeat, stalled off a challenge from Ossineke and drew away without much, effort at the end. Court Martial was crowded hark soon after the start, but closed a big gap and finished fast. Loud narangue ran well and outlasted Ossineke when It came to the finaLfMye. Knobhampton ran out at the twelfth jump, Goldenway refused at the eleventh, Opuntla bolted through the outside wing at the sixth and Greenfield fell at the Urst. Sir Ralph was waited with for the first half, then moved up with a rush on the outside on the far turn, wore Blue Buck down in the stretch run and outgamed him in the final drive. Blue Buck, off well, outran his opponents to the first turn and set the pace all the way, but tired under punishment in the last furlong. Request began slowly and closed up resolutely in the last quarter, hut swerved across to the "Inside in the last furlong. Rebounder ran well to the stretch and tired. Ormondes Right began slowly and was crowded back on the first turn, then stumbled and fell to his knees when straightened out in the baekstretch and was in a pocket until well around the far turn. Nattie Bumppo, off forwardly, raced Kamerun into subjection in the first half and had enough left at the end to stall off St. Noels challenge. The latter finished gamely under punishment and was wearing the winner down. No Trumper ran a winning race, propped when the start came and was as good as left at the post and closed a tremendous gap. Peter Knight ran away three furlongs at top speed while going to the post and ran well in the race. Blytheness finished close up. Kamerun showed speed, but failed to stay. Prospero ran badly and can beat such horses when fit.
