Lidwina was away well, showed good form and, wearing down Balshot after going a half, stood a !nrl drive gamely and outlasted Suzanne. The latter stood a hard drive well after being an active contender in the early stages. Agnes Virginia began slowly and was deficient in speed for the first half, but c-.rae fast in the stretch and was wearing the leaders down at the end. Balshot showed the most speed for a half and tired badly. Yo San ran away three-quarters while going to the post and was eased up in the race. Boserrian, away running and favored by the going, took a long lead at once and was never seriously menaced, winning eased to a canter. Affinity was close up in the early stages and, saving ground by a close turn into the stretch, got up in the final strides for second place. La Thorpe was also a forward contender and stood a hard drive well. Alyth began slowly and closed a big gap, but under the poor handling, began boring out in the stretch and this cost him second place. My Bessie ran a good racr. Froward tired badly in the stretch run. Anna Ruskiu began slowly and was always outrun. Scratched 04G94 Excuse Me, 97. Oasis, away in a tangle and lacking in early speed, came with a rush in the last quarter and was a fast going second. Intense finished gamely and outstayed Usury in the closing drive. Usury had no mishaps and ran a fairly good race. Envoy seemed to dislike the going and was u bad trailer throughout. Minn quit badly in the stretch. Prince of Pless was favored by the going and, after following the others close up for the first half, wore down Speedmaker in the stretch and had enough In reserve to stall off a determined challenge from Bralt. The latter closed a big gap and, better handled, would have won. Gauze ran poorly In going that is supposed to be to his liking. Bellevlew began slowly and finished with a rush.
