Royal Legend, away well in motion, showed the most speed and, being clear of interference, led all tha way and won with plenty in reserve. Miladl Love had a rough trip in the early stages, but saved ground on the stretch turn and, finishing fast, was overhauling the winner. Suzanne forced a fast pace enrly, but tired slightly near the end. Jay Ward came from a long way back in the stretch and ran a good race. Sallie B. B. tired after going a half. Temple had.no mishaps. The Clansman, away well and clear of interference, moved into a long lead from the start and, maintaining his speed well, outlasted Harry Scott. The latter began slowly and closed a big gap after going a half, but tired in the final strides. Missouri Lad had a rough trip and was poorly handled. Shawana ran a bad race and can do much better. Hannibal Bey went wide most of the way and tired slightly in the final drive. Don Domo, showing high speed, raced Omar Khayyam into subjection- while going the first three-quarters, but tired in the stretch drive. Devout ran a poor race and lacked speed in the early stages. Miltiades also ran a poor race and quit after going a half. Omar Khayyam tired in the last quarter after running well to the stretch. Scratched 64942Marvel P., 101. Lady Vimont ran far back In the early stages, but came with a rush after going a half and was a fast going second. Affinity closed a big gap from a poor beginning and finished like a shot. Caper ran well, but went wide most of the way. King Leopold ran a fairl good race only. Refined had a rough trip and was forced wide most of the way. Attention tired badly after going a half. The BorgLin showed the most speed to the stretch, but tired badly, in the last sixteenth. Juba regained speed suddenly and, closing a tremendous gap, was aolng fastest of all .it the end. Uncle Henry tired after going three-quarters. Chamblee had no mishaps and was outpaced all the way. Elliott showed early speed, was a contender for tlie first three-quarters and was eased up wheu beaten. The Only Way was given a bad ride and can do much better.
