Revolt ran a good race and finished going gamely, despite going wide through the stretch. Nuns Veiling, away poorly, came from a long way.-back in the stretch and finished with a rush. Emma V. xan a good race and will improve. Adarc retired after going a half. Cortez ran In improved form. King Leopold had a rough trip. Winner B. c, by First Mate The Chough trained by W. A. Smith. Went to post at 2:25. At post 3 minutes. Start fair. Won driving; second and third the same. The Mate, running kindly and vigorously handled, was a forward contender from the start and, standing the hard final drive resolutely, got up in the last two strides. Belden had to overcome a lot of interference and, finishing with a rush, got up in the final strides for second place. Arabo, poorly handled anil also suffering from interference, closed a big gap after going a half and was unlucky to lose. Quincy ran a surprisingly good race for him and finished faster than the leaders. DOrmont tired badly after fhowlng superior speed for three-quarters. Dr. Young, badly handled and swerving in the stretch repeatedly, would have been a sharp factor with better handling. Mathew Gault ran a poor race and was taken wide most of the way. Ethel Oay, well handled and gaining, steadily on the others from a poor beginning, overhauled Meadow-breeze in the last furlong and, under a good ride, won with little to spare. Meadowbreeze, lucky throughout and showing the most early speed, took a long lead at once, but tired unexpectedly when apparently the winner. Stoner Hill had no mishaps ?nd ran to his best form. St. Joseph3 race was too bad to be seriously considered in future calculations, can do much better and will do soon. . H. L. Frank ran as if ehort and will improve.. The others were outclassed here. Noel rushed into a long lead soon after the start and, maintaining his speed well throughout, won with plenty in reserve and was never seriously menaced. Minnehaha was a forward contender from the start and, standing a hard drive through the stretch, finished going gamely. Albula had no mishaps and was right there all the way. Rebounder had a rough trip and can do much better. Sincerity Belle, almost left at the post, ran a winning race and finished with a rush.
