NOTES OF THE TURF. Go Between worked a mile In 1:42 at Jamaica a few days ago and critics think this good horse is regaining his spring form. Jockey J. Daly is to ride for C. C. McCafferty in California next winter if lie can get down to riding weight. He turned up at Latonia weighing 124 pounds and has taken off eight. In the way of new attractions at Woodbine Park track, Toronto, a polo field has been added in the eastern field, and a bowling lawn capable of accommodating thirty-two rinks has been built In the western field. The forthcoming Ascot meeting will run till March 17, 1007, and the Baldwin Park management expects to begin its first meeting within a few days after Ascot closes, to continue 00 days. Should the new track not be in readiness by that time the initial meeting will not begin till September 1 and run till November 29, Ascots opening date.
