, THE WINNERS AT AQUEDUCT. , The autumn meeting of tho Queens County -Jockey Club at Aqueduct covered eleven racing days with sixty-seven races run of which sixty-one were on the flat and six were steeplechases. The total s;um of money distributed among winning owners yras 5,900, the daily average amounting, to such respectable figures as ,900. Owners -who won 00 jr more numbered forty-two and fifty-three more won -less than 00 each. James R. Keehe was the leader in the list of winning owners with a total of ,720, to which Philander was the principal Contributor. Davy Johnson came next with C. D. Expansionist fared best among the jumpers with a total of ,545. Roseben with two races and ,410 won, and Martin Doyle with three races and ,203, led tjie elder division. Miller was the most successful rider in respect, to number of winning mounts, but his percentage does not compare favorably with that achieved by Shaw, "who, despite the unfavorable light a clique of New York writers frequently depict him, is today the best rider in this country.
