The latter seemed "dangerous after entering the stretch and might have been u more "serious contender but for the interference. All Ablaze had bad racing luck. Black lock ran poorly. Daring found the track to his liking today and, after overcoming interference at the start, made up ground rapidly on the turn for home and, drawing away in the stretch, won with plenty in reserve, feimou Kent ran well and was on the outside for the entire trip. Lord Dixon, weakly ridden in the early, stages, finished with a rush and nipped Belltoone for third place in the last stride. The latter showed superior speed for five furlongs, but tired badly in the final strides. Oleasa finished close aip. St. Noel closed a cap and finished gamely. French Nun can do much better. Crafty ran forwardly throughout, but was doing his best it the end to stall off the rush of Miss Lida. The latter legan slowly, but finished, as usual, with a rush. Lady Jocelyn was reserved in the early part of the race but, after taking the ninth jump, moved up fast and racing Peter Becker Into defeat on the flat, won easing up. Peter Becker ran and fenced in Improved form, displayed much speed and appeared all over the winner after taking the last jump, but went wide on the turn into the homestretch, losing several lengths. Profitable was taken back repeatedly in the trip through the field and finished with a .belated rush. Dawson fenced well, but failed to stay. Injectable, pila, and War Chief ran below their best form. Naughty B. and Maverick ran out at the third jump. Scratched C5134 Gould, 139. Beatrice K. was under pressure all the way and had no chance with the winner, but easily held second place safe. Globe Runner was badly messed about in the early stages and finished fafet under punishment. Ed Early ran in improved form. Percy Green quit badly after running a good five furlongs. Fenian and Falkland ran fairly welL The others were badly strung out at the finish. Henry O. showed improvement under a good ride, forced a fast pace for a half, then took the lead, raced Minnehaha and Dan McKenna into defeat and won drawing away. Gamester was shuffled back at the start, but made up ground gamely and, finishing with a rush, might have been a more serious contender but for being in tight quarters. Dan McKenna ran well to the stretch and tired badly under punishment. Annie Berry was messed about in the early stages and finished fast. Rulloba can do better. Minnehaha showed the most early speed, but quit badly when the roar racing came. Inspector Girl was pulled up after going a half.
