ABOUT THE TWO-YEAR-OLDS. Lady Hildreth and Billy Meyers, the filly and colt finishing first and third in the two year-old race al Oakland yesterday, were both bred at Baneho del Paso and were bought at Sheepsbead Bay last June, by S. C. Hildreth; the filly for 00, and the colt for ffitfi. Lady Hildreth is more than a month older than Billy Meyers. She was foaled March 1 I, while Billy Meyers was foaled April 27. Parabola, the dam of Lady Hildreth, is the only foal of Parable, which is a half sister to Illogical. Myth. St. Clair and Hard] Gras, the latter a winner in Liigland for three seasons. Billy Meyers is the lirst foal of Pleasant Sail, a winner at two and three years old. Pleasant Sail Is out of Trade What, the dam of Taghairm, and full sister to Simmons. Charay was bred by H. P. Wood at Frankfort, Ky., and is a half sister to Judge Cantrill and largo. She is a late foal, having been dropped Hay 1. She was purchased privately by J. O. Keene. Pew of Pawn Is lose kin to Karly Tide. They are both by Peep oPay and have the same grandam, Mag. Pew of Pawus dam is Hain Prop, a stake winner and the dam of April Shower and Bachael C. l ew of Pawn was bred in the Eton Stud and H. Gardner bought her as a yearling for 0O.
