WILL BREED TO ROCK SAND AND ADAM New Orleans. La., January 7. P. K. Bradley, the Chicago merchant, bookmaker and turfman, who has l een here for the past three or four days, will leave Wednesday for Palm Beach. Florida, to spend the tenia inder ol the winter. Mr. Bradley has some horses at City Iark. but the greater number of his racing stable is wintering at Sheepsbead Bay. Mr. Bradley has a farm near I.exington. Ky.. which he visited on his way down from Chicago. While there he made arrangements to breed Tarpeia 11. to the Preach stallion Adam, and Philista to August Bel monts great stallion Back Sand. Both these mares have been good producers, the former having thrown among others the last horse Ml Peters, while Philista is the dam of Phil Finch. Mr. Bradley has fourteen young mares at his farm, and twelve of them are in foal. "Boston" Jack McDonald transfer led his horses to Mr. Bradleys farm a few mouths, ago. He has tive man*, one a sister in blood to Back Band, and the promising young stallion Holstein. Mr. Koss, one of the stewards of the Jockey Club, has ahtpped five mares to the Bradley farm to be bred to Hotstein.
