January 7. - Stockholders in the New Memphis lackey Club today elected its board o: directors for the ensuing year. They adhered strictly to the time honored custom of confining membership to "native sons." as follows: S. it. Montgomery, 1". J. Jones. Napoleon Hill, O. II. P. Piper, K. P.rinkiey Sunwdcn, H. T. Cooper. C II. Raine., J. W. Schorr. Kennedy Jones. J. M. lowlkcs. B. K. Wright. M. N. Ma. iarlan. K. P. Snowdeii. These gentlemen are all prominently identified witli Memphis business interests. The directors will name the officers for the year at a meeting tomorrow. It is planned to open the spring meeting April 10 and to race twenty-one days.
